Responsible gaming

Betting is for adults aged 18 or older, and it costs money. This page gives the operator's age rule, the signs of play that is getting out of hand, a budget tool and the helplines to call.

Age

Age and the operator's statement

Krikya sets the minimum age at 18 and says what a player can do when betting gets out of control.

Krikya's FAQ says its customers must be 18 years of age or older, and its terms of use (§2.1) allow play for money from 18 and only at an age at which play is legally permitted in the country you visit from. The sign-up form asks you to confirm that you are over 18.

Krikya's About Us has a responsible-gaming section: a player who finds it hard to control betting can tell Krikya, which can then suspend the betting account. If you want a break, write to the operator's customer service through its live chat. This site cannot suspend or change an account.

Signs

Signs that betting is becoming a problem

Problem play rarely starts with one big loss. It builds through small changes in how money, time and mood are handled.

The checklist in the budget tool below lists the main warning signs. Behind each one there is usually a pattern that is easier to see over the last month than over the last session, so read the signs against a longer stretch.

Signs in the money

  • Deposits grow while the budget you set stays the same
  • Money moves from the account for bills to the account for betting
  • You borrow, sell something or use a card to fund play
  • You deposit again at once after a loss to win it back
  • You keep playing only to finish a bonus turnover, and play more than you planned

Signs in time and mood

  • Sessions run past the time you set, or you play through the night
  • You think about the next bet at work or during family time
  • You feel low or irritable after a loss, and restless when you cannot play
  • You hide or understate how much or how long you play

One or two signs do not mean you have a gambling problem. A pattern of several is a reason to stop for a while and talk to someone. Bonus rules can push play past the plan, because turnover must be wagered before a withdrawal: see Krikya bonuses.

Time for a break if you…

  • !Betting more than you planned or can afford to lose
  • !Chasing losses with a bigger deposit
  • !Hiding how much you play from family or friends
  • !Using money meant for bills, rent or food
  • !Playing to escape stress or a low mood
  • !Feeling restless or irritable when you try to stop

Free, confidential help

To pause your account, ask the operator's customer service; Krikya says it can suspend a betting account.

The tool is a calculator for your own planning: it stores nothing and sends nothing. Pick a budget for one session and a number of sessions, and see what a week costs. If the figure feels too high, lower it before you deposit, not after.

Limits

Limits that work in practice

A limit helps only if it is set before play, written down and hard to change in the moment.

A descriptive text on the operator's site mentions deposit limits, session timers and breaks, while its About Us and FAQ describe suspension of a betting account through customer service. Before you rely on a built-in tool, open your account settings and see whether it exists. Limits you keep yourself work in any case.

Money limits

  • Choose a monthly amount you can lose without touching rent, food, school fees or savings
  • Split it into sessions with the budget tool above
  • Treat each session budget as spent the moment you deposit it
  • Do not deposit a second time in the same session

Time limits and breaks

  • Set an alarm for the end of the session before you start
  • Keep to a fixed time of day and a fixed end
  • Leave the lobby for the rest of the day after a big win or a big loss

If you want a longer break, write to the operator's customer service through live chat and ask to suspend the betting account. Remove saved cards and wallets from the account page, so that a deposit takes effort rather than one tap.

Where to get support

Two services are listed; neither is run by Krikya or by this site.

The helpline page is kaanpeteroi.org/helpline-service. Call hours and numbers can change, so check the page before you call. In an emergency, call the local emergency services first.

Talking

How to ask for help

Telling one person is the first step, and it does not have to be a specialist.

gamblingtherapy.org is an international service with pages in many languages, among them English and Hindi. It has no Bengali version, so English is the working language there. Its advice and emotional support are free.

Kaan Pete Roi is a line for emotional support and suicide prevention, not a service specific to gambling. Its number is +880 9612-119911, and the call hours given on its helpline page on 14 October 2026 are every day from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM. Only that page is linked here: Kaan Pete Roi helpline service.

A call or a message can start with plain facts: how long the betting has gone on, how much money is involved and what worries you most. You can also tell a family member or a friend you trust, and ask them to keep you to the budget you set. If you feel unsafe or think about harming yourself, call the local emergency services first.

Rules

Operator rules that can cost a player money

Staying inside a budget includes knowing which rules can take money away. Section numbers follow the operator's English terms.

  • One person, one account. Under §11.1, collusion or use of multiple accounts means all bonuses and winnings are forfeited
  • §11.8 lets the operator block, refuse, suspend, hold or withdraw a user's promotion participation; §11.9 voids the bets of people in collusion and says money in the account will be confiscated
  • §12.1 sets zero tolerance for bonus abuse and fraud, with bonuses, winnings and deposits removed from suspected accounts at the operator's discretion
  • §11.5 makes a bonus valid for thirty days; if the turnover is not reached, the bonus and what was won with it are removed
  • §15.1 allows winnings to be voided and the balance frozen or confiscated if the account name does not match the payment account, and winnings are annulled if the player is under the legal age

These lines paraphrase the operator's own terms. Read the full text on the operator's site before you deposit, and see the Krikya review for how they weigh in the score.

Habits

Habits that keep play inside a budget

  • Set a session budget before you open the lobby, and do not top it up
  • Keep gambling money apart from money for bills and food
  • Do not play when tired, upset or after drinking
  • Take a break after a big win or a big loss, and do not chase either
  • Remember that turnover rules on bonuses make a bonus cost more than its face value: see Krikya bonuses

The editorial assessment of the operator's terms is on the Krikya review; questions about this site go to the contact page.
